(September 05) Today we're celebrating . . . Be Late For Something Day
Be Late For Something Day
Life getting you down? Too much stress and strain in your life? Don’t worry about deadlines today. About time cards. About the clock.
Take a little more time for youself today. Don’t worry. You’ll get there when you get there!

source: http://blog.holidays.net/index.php/2009/09/05/september-05-today-were-celebrating-be-late-for-something-day-3/You see, I woke up right about the time I should to be stepping out of our gate; about 45 minutes late of my supposed wake up time. And just when I was in such hurry, the main road, for whatever reason, where I take my FX ride was closed, hardly any form of public transportation was passing by, and had to take a cab only to be stuck in a one long vehicle congestion on an early Saturday morning. I surely uttered every damnable curse inside my head and kept wondering why the hell did they not make any traffic advisory prior to whatever event they had today. I ended up being late for an hour when I could have only been late for not more than 15 minutes. Good thing I was given permission to adjust my schedule for today so I won't appear late. Whew!
That's the best thing about Pasig. Those bucktards try so freaking hard to beautify Pasig but they're forgetting about the more important things. Like how the tennis court at the back of the city hall was now transformed into a park. Like how the local library looks like a roomful of old dusty piles of papers good for packing tuyo't daing. And, like how the traffic in Pasig has always been so awful, worsening it by conducting lame shows and parades right on the main roads and streets. How sweet and thoughtful of them that should I have a handmade grenade with me, I would have blown the brains out of those idiots running this city. They don't use theirs anyway.
